GRAYS UPDATE
Welcome to the UK started on the 1st of February 2023 with a friendship group at The Welcome to the UK started on the 1st of February 2023 with a friendship group at The Community House in Grays. Due to the funding, we only started with twice-monthly sessions, but during this time, we’ve been very happy to have good interest from the community and local organisations in attending the sessions. This time helped us learn more about the fantastic professionals and community groups. We are delighted now to confirm that we have our own space/ office in Grays Shopping Centre. We have been working hard to accelerate the signing of documents to set up the office with adequate equipment, and now we are in the process of interviewing an admin who will work from 10 am to 2 pm. We know there is a significant need in the area for us to start and operate as quickly as possible, but we would like to start slowly & carefully to be sure we are offering the best professional services. Unfortunately, we do not have an exact date when we can start, but we hope to be operating by the 2nd or 3rd week of October.
